Kicker 51HS12 12" 230 Watt RMS Powered Hideaway Compact Underseat Subwoofer HS12

The Hideaway HS12 is the largest of the under-seat Hideaway enclosures: a 12-inch subwoofer and a 230 W RMS amplifier in an all-aluminum housing that is still only 3-1/2 inches tall. It measures 17-1/8 inches deep and 12-1/8 inches wide, so it takes more floor area than the 10-inch model but keeps the same low profile that lets it live under a seat.

FIT+ (Fail-safe Integration Technology PLUS) accepts input signals from 0.25 volt to 40 volts and supports vehicles with start/stop systems, so it connects to a factory head unit or an amplified factory system without a line output converter. High- and low-level inputs are both on the harness.

The included remote adjusts bass level without changing radio volume. Tuning includes a 12 dB/octave low-pass crossover adjustable from 50 to 120 Hz, a 24 dB/octave high-pass at 25 Hz, a 0/180-degree phase switch, and variable KickEQ boost to +6 dB at 40 Hz. Frequency response runs 25 to 120 Hz.

Installation runs through a quick-connect Molex plug and harness with 17 feet of power input, 8 feet of speaker-level input, and 2-foot ground and remote turn-on leads, plus two automatic turn-on options. Running two HS12s with a DBRC Dual-Amp Bass Remote gives you one knob for both. Weight is 17.5 lb. Covered by a 2-year warranty when purchased from an authorized dealer.
