The KM60 6.5-inch coaxial is a marine speaker in the real sense of the word, not a car speaker with a white grille. Every model in the line is ASTM tested for UV and salt/fog exposure, so the claim is backed by procedure rather than marketing.

RGB LED lighting is now standard, so the speakers add accent color on the water at night without a separate lighting kit. Pair them with the KICKER KMLC remote for expanded color and mode control.

Construction is built around exposure. UV treatments cover the injection-molded cones, Santoprene surrounds, baskets, and grilles. Motors, cones, and locking terminal covers are sealed against splash and spray, and the hardware is 316L stainless steel, so mounting screws will not rust and streak your gel coat. The white grille and basket will not yellow or fade with sun exposure.

Sound covers the full range with clear highs from a 1/2-inch PEI dome tweeter and defined midrange from a 6-1/2 inch UV-treated polypropylene woofer. Frequency response runs 35 Hz to 21 kHz with 90 dB sensitivity, so they play loud on modest power: 15 to 50 W RMS recommended, 150 W peak per ANSI/CTA-2031-A.

Mounting is a 5-3/16 inch hole with 2-1/2 inches of depth. Covered by a 3-year warranty when purchased from an authorized dealer.
