Product Description

The KICKER KPX500.1 is a mono subwoofer amplifier for installs where a full-size amplifier will not fit. At 8-1/2 inches long and 1-11/16 inches tall, it mounts under a motorcycle fairing, inside a UTV cage panel or beneath a truck seat, and the weather-resistant chassis handles the moisture and dust those spots see.

Output is 500W at 1 ohm, 300W at 2 ohms or 150W at 4 ohms, with 750W of dynamic power. That is enough to run a single 10 or 12-inch subwoofer hard, or a pair of smaller powersports subs, without loading down a motorcycle charging system.

Bass control is the strength here. A variable 40 to 160Hz low-pass crossover at 24dB/octave keeps midrange out of the subwoofer, and a variable 10 to 40Hz subsonic filter at the same slope blocks the ultra-low content that wastes excursion and damages drivers in ported boxes. KickEQ bass boost adds a selectable 6dB at 40Hz when you want more punch without touching the head unit. The optional CXARC remote puts level control at your fingertips while riding.

Input sensitivity covers a wide range, so the amplifier connects to a stock bike radio or an aftermarket deck directly. Frequency response runs 10Hz to 160Hz. Common installs include a bagger with a subwoofer in a saddlebag or under the seat, a UTV with a sub in a roll cage enclosure, or a truck that needs bass from a shallow under-seat box.

Features

    • Big Bass, Small Box

A chassis 8-1/2 inches long and 1-11/16 inches tall fits under a fairing or seat while still producing 500W at 1 ohm.

    • Easy On The Charging System

Efficient design pulls modest current, so a motorcycle or UTV electrical system keeps up during long rides at low engine speed.

    • Precise Low-End Control

A variable 40 to 160Hz low-pass at 24dB/octave keeps vocals out of the subwoofer and blends it with fairing or door speakers.

    • Subwoofer Protection Built In

The variable 10 to 40Hz subsonic filter blocks ultra-low content that wastes cone excursion and shortens driver life in ported boxes.

    • Bass Level At Your Fingertips

Connect the optional CXARC remote to adjust subwoofer output while riding, plus selectable 6dB KickEQ boost centered at 40Hz.
