Kicker 51KST2004 0.75" Car Audio Tweeters w/Crossovers+Swivel Mount, 4ohm KST200

The KICKER KST200 is a pair of 3/4" silk-dome tweeters for adding real high-frequency detail to a factory system or filling out a component front stage. The silk dome plays cymbals, strings and vocal air with a natural top end rather than the hard, glassy edge that metal domes can produce at volume.

Each tweeter ships with an in-line 12dB/octave crossover set at 4,500Hz, so low frequencies never reach the dome. That protects the voice coil and keeps distortion out of the top end. Poly-switch protection adds a second layer of safety if the amplifier gets pushed hard. Rated power is 10 to 65W RMS with 195W peak handling, and sensitivity of 92 dB means they keep up with larger woofers without a separate amplifier channel.

Four mounting options come with each pair: flush, angled cup, surface pod and included hardware for each. Flush mount depth is only 9/16 in, 14 mm with a 1-9/16 in, 40 mm hole, so the tweeter fits a sail panel, A-pillar, dash corner or door trim panel. Grilles are included.

Frequency response runs 4,500Hz-21kHz. Neodymium magnets keep the assembly small and light, which matters when the mounting surface is thin plastic trim. Common uses include adding highs to a set of full-range door speakers, replacing failed factory tweeters in a premium sound system, or building a two-way front stage with separate midbass drivers.
