Product Description

The KICKER KXMA1500.1 is a Class-D mono amplifier built for the water. It produces the same 1,500W at either 1 or 2 ohms, which is the detail that matters most on a boat: you get full output whether the wiring lands at one impedance or the other, so subwoofer choice is not dictated by the amplifier.

Marine hardware is not a label here. The circuit board is conformal-coated against moisture and salt air, the power connections meet ABYC and NMMA requirements, and 316L stainless-steel mounting hardware comes in the box. Those three things are what separate an amplifier that survives a season on open water from one that corrodes at the terminals.

Tuning is thorough. A variable 40 to 160Hz low-pass crossover at 24dB/octave and a variable 10 to 80Hz subsonic filter let you match the amplifier to a sealed or free-air enclosure. KickEQ+ parametric bass boost adds 0 to 6dB at 40Hz. The included KMBLC remote level control mounts at the helm so bass can be adjusted with passengers aboard, and full-range RCA pass-through outputs let you add a second amplifier without splitters.

Dynamic power reaches 2,500W and frequency response runs 10Hz to 160Hz. Input sensitivity covers low-level 125mV to 5V and high-level 250mV to 10V, so a factory marine source unit or an aftermarket head unit connects directly. Run it on a wakeboard boat tower system, a pontoon with under-seat subwoofers, or a center console that needs bass over engine and wind noise.

Features

    • Full Power At Either Impedance

The amplifier makes 1,500W at 1 ohm and 1,500W at 2 ohms, so subwoofer wiring can follow the boat layout instead of the amplifier.

    • Built For Salt Air

A conformal-coated circuit board, ABYC/NMMA-compliant connections and 316L stainless hardware hold up to spray, humidity and marine corrosion.

    • Bass Control At The Helm

The included KMBLC remote mounts at the dash so the operator adjusts subwoofer level while under way, without leaving the wheel.

    • Dial In The Enclosure

A variable 24dB low-pass from 40 to 160Hz and a 10 to 80Hz subsonic filter match the amplifier to sealed or free-air marine boxes.

    • Room To Expand

Full-range RCA pass-through outputs feed a second amplifier for tower or cockpit speakers with no splitters or extra line drivers.
