Product Description

The MWE104 is a 10-inch marine subwoofer made for a sealed or ported enclosure, adding the low end that coaxial speakers on a boat, pontoon, or side-by-side cannot reach. It handles 200 to 400W RMS at 4 Ohms with 800W peak, and response runs from 20 to 500Hz, so it covers the bottom two octaves of most music with room to spare.

The cone is polypropylene co-molded to a TPE surround, a pairing that stays stiff under load while shrugging off water, sun, and temperature swings. A polycarbonate bridge seated on a ribbed silicone gasket forms a vibration-resistant seal at the mounting surface, which keeps water out and rattles down. The glass-infused nylon basket handles heat and rough treatment better than stamped steel. KICKER Real Marine construction adds marine-compliant terminals and splash-and-spray resistance, and the sub meets or exceeds ASTM B117 200-hour salt/fog and ASTM G154 400-hour accelerated UV testing.

Enclosure planning is straightforward: 1 to 2.4 cubic feet sealed, or 1.25 to 1.75 cubic feet vented. Sealed keeps bass tight for cabin listening; vented trades some control for output on an open deck. Mounting takes a 9-1/16-inch hole with 5-3/16 inches of depth, and outer diameter is 11 inches, matching standard 10-inch marine cutouts.

RGBW LED lighting is built in for night use on the water. A charcoal grille is included, and the MWGW white grille is sold separately. Typical spots include under-helm enclosures, pontoon consoles, wake boat storage compartments, and UTV cargo areas.

Features

    • Low End Your Speakers Miss

Response from 20 to 500Hz with 200-400W RMS handling fills in the bottom octaves that 6-1/2-inch and 8-inch marine coaxials physically cannot produce.

    • Weather Where It Matters

A polypropylene cone co-molded to a TPE surround stays stiff under power while resisting water, salt, and UV that destroy paper cones outdoors.

    • Sealed Against Vibration

A polycarbonate bridge on a ribbed silicone gasket creates a tight seal at the mounting surface, keeping water out and panel rattle to a minimum.

    • Tested, Not Just Labeled

The sub meets or exceeds ASTM B117 200-hour salt/fog and ASTM G154 400-hour accelerated UV standards, so marine claims come with real test criteria behind them.

    • Box It Your Way

Sealed volumes from 1 to 2.4 cubic feet keep bass tight for cabin listening, while 1.25 to 1.75 cubic feet vented trades control for open-deck output.
