Product Description

The MWE124 is a 12-inch marine subwoofer for a sealed or ported enclosure, built for boats and powersports vehicles that need bass you feel as much as hear. It handles 225 to 450W RMS at 4 Ohms with 900W peak, response runs from 20 to 500Hz, and 86dB sensitivity means the extra cone area shows up as output rather than just size.

The cone is polypropylene co-molded to a TPE surround, a pairing that stays stiff under load while shrugging off water, sun, and temperature swings. A polycarbonate bridge seated on a ribbed silicone gasket forms a vibration-resistant seal at the mounting surface, keeping water out and rattles down. The glass-infused nylon basket takes heat and abuse better than stamped steel. KICKER Real Marine construction adds marine-compliant terminals and splash-and-spray resistance, and the sub meets or exceeds ASTM B117 200-hour salt/fog and ASTM G154 400-hour accelerated UV testing.

Enclosure range is 1.25 to 3.5 cubic feet sealed or 1.75 to 2.25 cubic feet vented, so it works in a compact under-helm box or a larger cabin enclosure. Mounting takes a 10-3/4-inch hole with 5-3/4 inches of depth, and outer diameter is 12-15/16 inches, so measure the space behind the panel before committing.

RGBW LED lighting is built in for night runs. A charcoal grille is included and the MWGW white grille is sold separately. Good fits include pontoon consoles, wake boat compartments, deck boat storage, and enclosed UTV cargo areas.

Features

    • Deeper Bass On The Water

A 12-inch cone rated 225-450W RMS with 20-500Hz response and 86dB sensitivity moves the air a deck full of people can actually feel.

    • Weather Where It Matters

A polypropylene cone co-molded to a TPE surround stays stiff under power while resisting water, salt, and UV that destroy paper cones outdoors.

    • Sealed Against Vibration

A polycarbonate bridge on a ribbed silicone gasket creates a tight seal at the mounting surface, keeping water out and panel rattle to a minimum.

    • Tested, Not Just Labeled

The sub meets or exceeds ASTM B117 200-hour salt/fog and ASTM G154 400-hour accelerated UV standards, so marine claims come with real test criteria behind them.

    • Fits Compact Or Large Boxes

Sealed volumes from 1.25 to 3.5 cubic feet and vented volumes from 1.75 to 2.25 cubic feet give installers room to work around available space.
