Product Description

The Kicker 52CVTDF122 pairs a 12-inch CompVT subwoofer with a down-firing wedge enclosure built for vehicles where floor space runs short. The box measures 21-1/2 in wide and 14-15/16 in high, with a 5-7/16 in top depth that steps down to 7-1/2 in at the bottom, so it slides behind or under a seat, into a cargo area, or against a trunk wall.

Firing toward the vehicle floor loads the bass and keeps the cone out of contact with anything stacked on top. A purpose-built motor and reinforced cone move air from a shallow cabinet, while full perimeter venting and the UniPlate black plate and pole piece pull heat away from the voice coil so output holds steady during long listening sessions. Sensitivity is rated at 93.6 dB (1W/1m), and the sub takes 225 to 450 W RMS with 900 W peak, which puts it in range of a common mid-size mono amplifier.

A single 2-ohm terminal cup keeps wiring simple: run one pair of leads from the amp and you are finished, with no series-parallel planning. The cabinet uses thick MDF with extensive internal bracing to hold its shape under pressure, and custom embroidery finishes the exterior.

This setup fits trucks with tight rear cab space, hatchbacks, SUVs and sedans that still need the trunk for gear. Anyone adding real low end to a factory system without giving up cargo room gets the most out of it.

Features

    • Big Bass In A Small Footprint

The wedge cabinet is just 5-7/16 in deep at the top, so it fits behind or under a seat while a full 12-inch cone moves the air.

    • Simple Single-Amp Wiring

One 2-ohm terminal cup means a single pair of leads from your mono amplifier, with no series-parallel planning or bridging math before you play music.

    • Heat Control That Holds Output

Full perimeter venting and the UniPlate black plate and pole piece move heat away from the voice coil, so volume stays consistent through long sessions.

    • Built To Take Cargo Weight

Thick MDF panels and extensive internal bracing hold the cabinet square when groceries, tools or luggage get stacked on top of it in the trunk.

    • Matched To Mid-Size Amplifiers

Rated for 225 to 450 W RMS with 900 W peak, the sub pairs with common mono amps rather than requiring a high-power amplifier upgrade.
