The Kicker 53PL7TDF10 is a complete bass system in one cabinet: a 10-inch Solo-Baric L7T subwoofer, a factory-tuned down-firing enclosure and a built-in amplifier rated at 500 W RMS at 14.4 volts. Because the amp is power-matched to the sub, there is no component pairing to work out and no separate amplifier to find space for.

The square L7T cone moves more air than a round cone of the same diameter, and firing toward the floor loads the bass while keeping the cone away from cargo. The cabinet stands 7-1/2 in tall, 14-3/8 in deep and 23-3/8 in wide, a footprint made for tight spots in trucks and SUVs, including under and behind rear seats. Thick internal bracing lets it hold weight stacked on top.

Integration is straightforward. High-level inputs accept 1V to 40V, so the system ties into a factory radio, while low-level inputs take 125mV to 5V from an aftermarket head unit. An active 24 dB/octave crossover is variable from 50 to 120 Hz on the low pass with a 25 Hz high pass, a 0-180 degree phase switch aligns the sub with your front stage, and frequency response runs from 25 to 120 Hz. Start/Stop system compatibility keeps it working in newer vehicles, and the included remote bass control puts level adjustment within reach of the front seat.
