1402VLZ4 14-Channel Compact Analog Mixer

The 1402VLZ4 steps up Mackie's high-headroom, low-noise VLZ design to 14 channels and 6 Onyx mic preamps, giving a band, house of worship, or small studio more inputs without losing the clean signal path the VLZ line is known for. Each preamp offers a 60 dB gain range and the mixer holds a 128.5 dB dynamic range with distortion under 0.0007 percent from 20 Hz to 50 kHz. A 3-band EQ at 80 Hz, 2.5 kHz, and 12 kHz shapes tone on every channel, and 60mm long-wearing log-taper faders give consistent, repeatable level control across a full show. Two aux sends with PFL solo on each channel and two stereo returns route signal to monitors or effects, while an ALT 3/4 bus adds flexibility for splitting the mix. High-resolution 12-segment stereo meters keep levels visible at a glance, and sealed rotary controls resist the dust and spilled drinks that come with regular gigging. The steel wrap-around chassis with a black powder-coat finish and high-contrast knobs is built to survive the road, and an optional rack ear kit turns it into a rack-mounted unit when space is tight. A multi-voltage power supply keeps it gig-ready anywhere in the world.
