The Mackie 2404VLZ4 is a 24-channel 4-bus analog mixer with onboard effects and a USB interface, built for front-of-house engineers running full bands, multi-mic worship services and live broadcast. Twenty Onyx mic preamps cover a 60 dB gain range with 128.5 dB of dynamic range and distortion under 0.0007%, so a 20-piece input list stays clean from soundcheck to encore. Phantom power is switchable for condensers, and improved RF rejection keeps transmitter noise off the feed.

Channels 17 through 20 have dedicated inline compression for lead vocals and other critical inputs, and all four subgroups carry their own inline compressors for dynamic control over drums, vocals or the whole band. Mono channels get 3-band EQ with a sweepable midrange plus an 18 dB/oct 100 Hz low-cut filter; stereo channels get 4-band EQ. Six aux sends with inserts and pre/post fader switching handle monitors and effects, and 20 line inputs come with dedicated inserts for outboard gear.

Dual 32-bit RMFX+ processors supply 24 gig-ready reverbs, choruses and tap delay, so you can leave the rack at home. The integrated 4x2 24-bit USB interface streams subgroups or the main mix to a Mac or PC for recording, runs plug-ins live through auxes 5 and 6, and returns stereo playback to the mains. PFL/AFL solo modes, 12-segment stereo meters and a Built-Like-A-Tank steel chassis round it out at 31.0 lb.
