New Mackie 402VLZ4 4-channel Compact Analog Low-Noise Mixer w/ 2 ONYX Preamps

The Mackie 402VLZ4 is a 4-channel ultra-compact analog mixer for desktop podcasting, two-mic interviews, small stage submixes and broadcast feeds where space is tight. Switchable phantom power runs condenser mics.

The first two channels have selectable Hi-Z inputs, so a guitar, bass or keyboard plugs in directly with no DI box in the signal chain. Four line inputs total handle a laptop, playback deck or wireless receiver. Two-band EQ at 80 Hz and 12 kHz trims boom and adds clarity, and an 18 dB/oct 100 Hz low-cut filter removes desk thumps and room rumble from mic channels. High-resolution 8-segment stereo meters show level at a glance, and improved RF rejection keeps phone interference out of a broadcast feed.

The Built-Like-A-Tank steel chassis with powder-coat finish and sealed rotary controls means it survives a gig bag, a dusty AV closet or a coffee spill on a desk. High-contrast controls stay readable in low light.
