Mackie Big Knob Studio + Plus 4x3 Studio Monitor Controller Interface w/ USB I/O

The Mackie Big Knob Studio+ is the largest of the Big Knob family, pairing a 4x3 monitor controller with a 2x4 USB interface for studios running more sources and more monitor pairs than a basic desk. Switch between four sources and three monitor pairs, each with independent trim so comparisons across nearfields, mains and a mono reference are level-matched.

Two Onyx mic preamps with a 60 dB gain range and phantom power feed 24-bit recording and playback at up to 192 kHz, high enough for detailed acoustic and orchestral work. A cue mix blends direct inputs with playback for zero-latency tracking, and selectable recording paths handle podcast and interview routing.

Talkback is more capable here: an external mic input and footswitch control let you set up a proper talkback position and keep both hands on the keyboard or fader. A dedicated amp-driven studio output feeds a headphone distribution system in the live room, and dual headphone outs with independent level cover engineer and talent. Sixteen-segment metering shows input level, and a 1/8-inch source input takes a phone.

The Built-Like-A-Tank chassis works with all major DAWs on Mac and Windows. Recording software and 23 audio plugins are included.
