The Mackie DRM18S-P puts an 18" high-excursion woofer in a braced 18mm plywood cabinet for systems running external amplification. Power handling is 500W continuous, 1000W program, and 2000W peak, so it pairs with the amplifier rack you already own.

The acoustic design does the heavy lifting. Ample internal volume and precision-tuned port sizing produce the low end naturally, with minimal distortion, rather than leaning on processing to compensate for a small box. That matters for rental companies and installs where the sub gets pushed hard for hours at a time.

Parallel SpeakON inputs simplify wiring when multiple subs share an amplifier channel. The M20 threaded pole attachment takes DRM Series tops or other pole-mountable cabinets directly above the sub, and the optional FB100 fly bar with the FKDRM18S flyware kit handles flown arrays. Touring-grade textured coating and a powder-coated heavy gauge steel grille keep it presentable through years of load-ins.

Add the optional SP260 loudspeaker processor to apply crossovers and EQ curves designed for DRM passive cabinets, which lines the sub up properly with DRM tops instead of guessing at settings. At 90 lb, it works as ground-stacked low end for clubs, houses of worship, production companies, and rental stock.
