The Mackie DRM215-P is a 15" passive loudspeaker rated 400W continuous, 800W program, and 1600W peak, for rigs running their own amplifiers and processing. The 15" high-excursion woofer moves more air than a 12", which is the reason to pick it: more low end from the tops before a subwoofer takes over.

Highs come from a 1.4" titanium diaphragm compression driver, fed by a precision internal crossover with premium-grade components. The angled cabinet lets the same box work as a main on a pole or as a high-output floor monitor on stage, and the dual-angle pole mount gives two coverage patterns for different rooms. Eight M10 flypoints handle vertical flying for installs.

The enclosure is road-worthy 15mm plywood with internal bracing, touring-grade textured coating, and a powder-coated heavy gauge steel grille. Parallel SpeakON inputs make it simple to chain cabinets on one amplifier channel, and the optional SP260 loudspeaker processor supplies crossovers and EQ curves tuned for DRM passive systems.
