Mackie FKDRM18S Flyware Kit for DRM18S+DRM18S-P Subwoofers (FB100 Required)

The FKDRM18S is the flyware kit that makes a Mackie DRM18S or DRM18S-P subwoofer flyable. It is designed to work with the FB100 fly bar, which is required, and together they let low frequencies hang with the tops instead of sitting on the floor.

Flown subwoofers solve problems that ground-stacked ones create. Bass stops loading into the stage and the first few rows, coverage across the room evens out, and floor space at front of house or on a crowded stage comes back. For installs in clubs and houses of worship, getting the sub off the ground also keeps it away from foot traffic and out of sight lines.

The kit is specific to the DRM18S and DRM18S-P cabinets, so it lines up with the mounting points already built into those enclosures rather than calling for modification. It suits production companies and integrators building DRM systems that need to be flown as a complete package, tops and subs together, from one fly bar.

Note that the FB100 fly bar is sold separately and is required for flying.
