New Mackie Mix8 8 Channel Compact Mixer Constructed With a Durable Metal Chasis

Mix8 is an eight-channel analog mixer that combines mics, keyboards, and playback into a single stereo mix, with enough routing to run a monitor feed or an outboard effect. Two mic/line inputs with high-headroom, low-noise preamps and phantom power handle vocals and condensers, while two stereo 1/4" line inputs bring in keys, players, and laptops.

Each channel has 3-band EQ for precise tone shaping, plus pan, level, and an overload indicator so you can see when a source is pushing too hard. One aux send with stereo 1/4" returns is the piece that separates Mix8 from smaller mixers: use it to feed a stage monitor, a separate zone, or a reverb unit and bring the return straight back into the mix.

Outputs cover the basics without clutter. Main L/R outputs feed powered speakers or a recorder, stereo RCA inputs and outputs handle background music and stereo capture, and the headphone output has its own volume control for cueing.

The metal chassis is built for repeat load-ins, and at 2.5 lb with a 2.1" x 7.8" x 9.6" footprint it travels in a backpack and lives comfortably on a crowded desk.
