Mackie MR824 8” 85 Watt Powered Active Studio Monitor Class A/B Bi-Amped Speaker

MR824 is an 8" powered studio monitor for rooms where low end has to be heard, not guessed at. An 8" polypropylene woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter run on 85W of bi-amplified Class A/B power, with each driver fed by its own amplifier section, and the pair reaches down to 35 Hz and up to 20 kHz.

That extra low frequency reach matters when you are working on bass-heavy material. You hear the bottom octave instead of inferring it, which makes decisions about kick, bass, and sub content far more reliable.

The logarithmic waveguide widens dispersion for a large listening sweet spot and sharper stereo imaging, so your mix picture stays consistent as you move at the desk. Acoustic space filters keep response flat when the monitor sits near a wall or corner, and an HF filter compensates for a room that reads dull or bright. Flexible inputs connect to interfaces, mixers, and consoles without adapters.
