The MB Quart GMR-MIC is a waterproof external microphone that mounts in a standard Carling switch or accessory opening, giving you hands-free calling and voice control from a source unit without hanging a microphone off the dash. It fits MB Quart and universal source units through a 3.5 mm audio mini jack, so compatibility is broad. Sealed components carry an IP67 rating, which protects the connections from rain, spray, dust, and mud in an open cab, on a boat, or in a UTV. The cutout is a standard Carling style knockout at 0.8 inches wide by 1.3 inches high, so most side-by-sides, boats, and off-road builds already have a location for it, whether an unused switch blank or a spare accessory position. Overall unit dimensions are 1.625 inches high, 1.0 inch wide, and 0.25 inches deep, so it sits nearly flush and looks factory once installed.
