The MB Quart MBQJL-SUBR-1 replaces the subwoofer in a 2018-current Jeep Wrangler JL with factory premium audio, adding a 10-inch long-throw driver and a 400 W Class D amplifier. The key detail is fitment: the subwoofer uses the OEM premium audio enclosure and mounting location, so you keep your cargo space and the install looks untouched from the outside. The 10-inch driver is an application specific long-throw high output design wired at 2 ohms, with response from 20 Hz to 250 Hz and 87 dB sensitivity, which gives real low end rather than the shallow output the factory driver produces. Power comes from a 400 W high efficiency Class D NA2 amplifier with on-board equalization, packing serious output into a small chassis with low current draw, an important consideration on a JL electrical system.
