The MDR2.0W is a marine digital media receiver with a 160W internal amplifier, built to run a full audio system on a boat, RV, or off-road vehicle without a separate amp. Four channels of output power speakers directly at 16W RMS each, and those channels stay active when you add an external amplifier through the RCA preamp output, so growing the system later does not mean replacing the head unit. Sources include AM/FM radio, Bluetooth, USB, and an auxiliary RCA input. Apple control gives quick access to music apps on iPhone, iPod, and iPad, and the USB port handles both playback and charging. Bluetooth Connect with Secure Simple Pairing and Quick-Pair links a phone without a drawn-out pairing routine, and the unit reconnects to the last paired device as soon as it powers up. Nine front-facing buttons handle every function, sized and spaced for use with wet hands. The chassis meets or exceeds IPX5 for water and dust protection under MB Quart LIFE SHIELD testing, which also covers snow and shock.
