The Metra 70-1818 is the amp integration version: it plugs into the factory connector and provides RCA plugs that carry a low-level signal from your new receiver's preamp outputs to the OEM amplifier, so the original amp and speakers keep working. You keep the factory system's output while gaining Bluetooth calling, USB audio and camera inputs from the new head unit, and you skip pulling door panels to run new speaker wire. Coverage spans Ram pickups, Dakota, Durango, Caravan and Voyager, Grand Cherokee, TJ Wrangler, XJ Cherokee, Town & Country, Intrepid, Concorde, Sebring and more.
