The Metra 72-4568 adapts aftermarket speakers to the GM 1988-up speaker connector found across a wide run of 1984-2013 GM cars, trucks, and SUVs. The factory plug snaps into one end, your speaker leads attach to the other, and no original wire gets cut.

GM used this connector in an enormous number of vehicles, which makes this one of the parts worth keeping on the shelf if you work on Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, or Pontiac models regularly. It turns a door-panel speaker swap into a plug, a click, and a screw-down.
