Product Description

The Metra 82-3004 is a vehicle-specific spacer that lets you install 6x9" aftermarket speakers in select 2014-up Chevrolet and GMC models. It works in the front door locations on Canyon, Colorado, Sierra, and Silverado, and in the rear deck on Malibu.

A 6x9 is one of the better upgrades available in a truck because the larger cone moves more air, which means more midbass without adding a subwoofer. The catch is getting one mounted properly, and that is what this bracket handles. It is cut for the factory opening, so the speaker sits at the correct depth with screw points already in the right places.

One pair is included, covering both front doors or both sides of a rear deck. Because the bracket uses the existing factory location, there is no drilling into sheet metal or door structure.

Applications include Chevrolet Colorado 2015-up, Malibu 2016-up, Silverado 1500 2014-up, Silverado 2500 and 3500 2015-up, plus GMC Canyon 2015-up, Sierra 1500 2014-up, and Sierra 2500 and 3500 2015-up.
