The Metra 95-8211 opens the 2000-2004 Toyota Avalon dash for a double-DIN receiver or two stacked single-DIN units. The 4-inch-tall opening takes a current touchscreen head unit, or a receiver paired with an equalizer or DVD player.

The Avalon was built as a quiet highway sedan, which makes it a good candidate for a receiver upgrade: the cabin is already isolated, so better source quality and processing show up clearly. The panel is designed to match the exact color and size of the Avalon dash, so the finished install shows no gaps and the center stack keeps its original look.

ISO trim rings are included for a custom-looking edge, and the kit holds DIN or ISO DIN chassis units.
