The Metra 99-8902 mounts a single-DIN receiver in the factory radio location of late-model Subaru Impreza, Forester, and WRX models. The recessed DIN opening sets the radio face back into the panel for a factory appearance, and Metra patented Quick Release Snap In ISO-mount system with custom trim ring holds the chassis tight while still allowing removal later. Coverage spans Forester 2009-2013 including versions with the DVD based navigation system, Impreza 2008-2011, Impreza Outback Sport 2011, Impreza WRX 2013-2014 without navigation, and Impreza WRX STI 2008-2012, which makes it a single part number for a wide slice of the lineup. All hardware needed for installation is included with a full instruction set. Wiring and antenna connections are sold separately.
