Product Description

The Metra 99-9008 mounts an aftermarket receiver in the factory radio opening of the 1998-2004 Volkswagen Beetle. The kit holds DIN and ISO DIN chassis and includes an ISO trim ring, which frames the head unit and hides the cut line for a finished edge. Where the layout allows, an extra storage pocket sits below the radio, turning dead panel space into a spot for a phone or cable. Color and contour are matched to the original Beetle dash, so no gaps show once the panel is seated. Beetle-specific radio removal and installation instructions are included, along with the hardware, and the pieces fit together quickly rather than needing trimming or shimming. Covered by a lifetime warranty.

Features

    • Beetle-Specific Molding

The panel matches the color and curve of the Beetle dash, so the new radio opening does not show gaps or mismatched texture.

    • Either Mounting Style

DIN and ISO DIN chassis both fit, which keeps your head unit options open instead of narrowing them to one mounting method.

    • Extra Storage Space

Where the layout allows, a pocket under the radio holds a phone or cable instead of leaving a blank filler panel.

    • Trim Ring Included

The ISO trim ring frames the receiver and covers the seam, so the finished dash looks like it came that way.

    • Quick Assembly

Precise molding lets the parts go together on the first attempt, saving the fitting work cheaper kits demand before the panel goes in.
