AXXESS by Metra AXDI-CL2 2000-2005 Chevrolet/GM Wiring Harness Interface Chime

The Axxess AXDI-CL2 handles the electrical side of replacing the factory radio in 2000-2005 Chevrolet and other GM vehicles. It provides accessory power rated at 12 volts and 10 amps, and it retains R.A.P., so the audio system keeps working after the key is off until a door opens. Safety and warning chimes stay active through an onboard speaker, which matters because those alerts normally live inside the factory head unit and go silent when it comes out. Navigation outputs for parking brake, reverse, and speed sense are provided, so a screen radio gets the signals it needs for guidance and reverse camera switching. Balance and fade adjustment is retained. The interface is designed for non-amplified models, analog amplified models, or installs where you are bypassing the factory amp. A pre-wired AXSWC harness is included for steering wheel control retention with the AXSWC module, sold separately, and the interface updates over Micro B USB.
