Metra V6-RAK4 4 Gauge Car/Marine Amplifier Wiring Installation Wire Kit w/RCA's

The V6-RAK4 supplies the wiring an amplifier install needs in one box: power, ground, remote turn-on, signal, fusing, and the terminals that tie it all together. It is built around 4 gauge CCA multi-strand power and ground wire, the size most single-amplifier and moderate multi-channel systems call for on a run from the battery to a rear-mounted amp.

Lengths are set up for a typical vehicle. The 17 ft power wire covers a front-to-back run, the 3 ft ground wire reaches a chassis point near the amplifier, and 17 ft of 18 gauge blue remote turn-on wire follows the same path from the receiver. Signal comes through 17 ft of noise rejecting woven coaxial RCA cable with precision molded ends and split tips, which is what keeps alternator whine and other electrical noise out of the audio.

Fusing is handled by a V6 MINI-ANL holder with a 60A fuse, mounted close to the battery to protect the entire run. Nickel plated 4 AWG seamed crimp ring terminals with 8.5mm holes come attached with red and black boots for the battery and ground ends, and 4 AWG spade terminals with matching boots land at the amplifier. Assorted connectors, terminals, and wire ties finish the install cleanly.

Because the components are rated for both car and marine work, the same kit covers a trunk-mounted amp in a daily driver, a UTV audio build, or a boat where wiring lives with weather and constant vibration.
