Metra V6-RAK8 8 Gauge Car/Marine Amplifier Wiring Installation Wire Kit w/ RCA's

The V6-RAK8 gathers every wire an amplifier install needs into one kit: power, ground, remote turn-on, signal, fusing, and terminals. It is built around 8 gauge CCA multi-strand power and ground wire, the right size for compact monoblocks, four-channel amps, and powered subwoofers that do not call for a 4 gauge run.

Lengths follow a normal vehicle layout. The 17 ft power wire runs from the battery to a rear or under-seat mounting spot, the 3 ft ground wire reaches a chassis point near the amplifier, and 17 ft of 18 gauge blue remote turn-on wire follows the receiver back to the amp. Signal travels over 17 ft of noise rejecting woven coaxial RCA cable with precision molded ends and split tips, which keeps alternator whine and interference out of the audio on a long run beside power wire.

A V6 MINI-ANL fuse holder with a 30A fuse mounts near the battery and protects the whole power line. Nickel plated 8 AWG seamed crimp ring terminals with 8.5mm holes arrive with red and black boots for the battery and ground connections, and 8 AWG spade terminals with matching boots handle the amplifier end. Miscellaneous connectors, terminals, and wire ties tidy up the routing.
