THUNDER68 2-Pack

This bundle includes two matched pairs of MTX THUNDER68 speakers, four speakers total, sized to fit either 5x7" or 6x8" factory openings for a complete front-and-rear system upgrade. Each speaker handles up to 60W RMS and reaches down to 48Hz, so the pair carries real bass weight on its own, well before adding a dedicated subwoofer to the system.

A polypropylene woofer cone holds up to heat and moisture better than paper composites, and its concave shape is built to improve imaging in door-panel mounting positions, where sound normally has to work harder to reach the listener. A 15-degree pivoting tweeter lets you angle the high end toward the driver or passenger seat for sharper stereo separation no matter where the speaker physically sits in the door or panel. A high-temperature voice coil combined with Spider Plateau Venting manages heat at the coil, keeping performance consistent through long, loud drives.

Because the kit includes two full pairs, every speaker position in a standard four-speaker vehicle gets the same driver, keeping front-to-rear tone balanced instead of running mismatched old and new speakers. The dual-size mounting flexibility also means the same set fits a wider range of vehicles than a single fixed size would.
