The MTX 3512-04S is a 12" shallow mount car audio subwoofer built for vehicles with no room for a full-depth woofer. At 3.375" deep with a 11.125" cutout diameter, it fits behind seats, under seats, and in slim sealed boxes that a standard 12" subwoofer cannot clear.

Power handling is 300 W RMS and 600 W peak through a single 2" 4-ohm voice coil, matched to any mono amplifier putting out 150-300 W RMS. Frequency response runs 23Hz - 130Hz at 84.4 dB sensitivity, low enough for bass lines and kick hits while staying controlled through the upper bass.

The MTX Inverted Apex surround trades the traditional half-roll profile for a narrower one, adding usable cone area so the woofer moves more air (35.74 cu in of volume displacement) and reaches higher SPL. A progressive suspension holds cone motion in check at high power, keeping distortion down as the volume climbs. Spider Plateau Venting targets cool air at the voice coil and the 44 oz magnet assembly keeps output steady through long listening sessions.
