The MTX 7515-22 is a 15" SuperWoofer from the 75 Series, built for SPL competitors and anyone who wants competition-level bass in a daily vehicle. It handles 750 W RMS and 1500 W peak on dual 2.5" 2-ohm voice coils, matched to a mono amplifier in the 375-750 W RMS range.

The motor is the story here: a 119 oz magnet assembly, a 2.5" dual voice coil, and an integrated t-yoke heat sink paired with Spider Plateau Venting. That two-layer thermal system pulls heat away from the coil so the woofer keeps making power through a long demo or a full competition run instead of compressing.

A glass fiber cone gives a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, which shows up as 87.53 dB sensitivity and cleaner output at high excursion. The Inverted Apex surround increases surface area and Xmax for 91.66 cu in of volume displacement, while a progressive, layered spider eliminates break-in time and lowers distortion from the first song. The cast aluminum basket resists resonance and flex under the loads this motor generates.

Frequency response runs 20Hz - 140Hz. Use a sealed box of 1.5 cu ft or a vented box of 2.48 cu ft: sealed for tighter, more accurate response in a trunk or truck cab, vented for maximum output on a competition build.
