F-150EX-09A Active 10" Subwoofer and Sealed Enclosure

The MTX F-150EX-09A is an active Thunderform enclosure built specifically for the 2009-2015 Ford F-150 Super Cab, filling space behind the seat that the factory leaves empty. It houses a single 10" subwoofer with an integrated amplifier, both matched to handle 250W RMS and 500W peak, so there is no separate amp to source, mount, or wire in. The sealed 1.0 cubic foot design is tuned for tight, controlled bass rather than the looser output of a vented box.

Construction uses durable MDF with an aviation grade carpet finish, molded in the same color throughout so scratches will not show through to a different layer underneath. A frequency response of 29Hz to 160Hz and 89 dB sensitivity give it real low-end extension for a factory-space subwoofer, and because the amplifier is already matched to the driver, connecting it comes down to running power and a signal source rather than solving a gain-matching puzzle. It is available across more than 225 vehicles in the broader Thunderform line, and this application drops directly into the F-150 Super Cab's factory mounting points with no cutting required. At 23.65 lb, it stays light enough for a straightforward one-person install.
