The MTX MUD100.2 is a compact two-channel amplifier built for vehicles that live outside: side-by-sides, boats, sand rails, and motorcycles. It puts out 50 W RMS per channel at 4 ohms, 100 W RMS per channel at 2 ohms, and 200 W RMS bridged into a single 4-ohm channel, with 400 W peak handling.

Full range class D topology does two jobs here. It keeps sound quality high across the audio band, and it runs efficiently enough to stay cool in a small chassis, which is what lets the amplifier measure just 4.22" x 5.72" x 1.86". That footprint fits under a seat, behind a dash panel, or inside a console where a traditional amplifier will not go.

Weather resistance is rated IP66, and the printed circuit board is conformal coated to resist moisture that gets past any panel. That is the difference between an amplifier that survives a season of mud, rain, and pressure washing and one that dies in the first month.

Fixed crossovers at 80 Hz, 12 dB per octave, cover both directions: use the high-pass to run full-range speakers without wasting power on bass they cannot reproduce, or the low-pass to feed a subwoofer. Frequency response runs 20 Hz to 20 kHz with THD under 1.0%. Input sensitivity tops out at 200 mV with a maximum input signal of 5V, so it accepts signal from a head unit like the MTX AWMC3 or from speaker-level sources.
