S6510-44 10" Square Subwoofer

The MTX S6510-44 is a 10" dual voice coil square subwoofer built for SPL enthusiasts who want maximum bass in minimal space. Its square shape adds more surface area than a round subwoofer of the same diameter, and MTX's patented corner geometry increases Xmax, so the sub moves more air and produces higher volume displacement for a given size.

Dual layer cooling keeps it running under heavy use. Spider Plateau Venting draws on the subwoofer's own movement to cool the voice coil as it plays, while a radial ribbed T-yoke pulls heat away from the coil through the back plate. Rated for 1000W peak and 500W RMS at dual 4 ohms, it's built to run with 250 to 500 watts RMS of amplifier power, and its patented surround geometry combined with a progressive suspension controls excursion at high power to keep distortion in check. A 26Hz to 130Hz frequency response and 84.5dB sensitivity round out a subwoofer designed to deliver exceptional SPL for the price.
