Thunder THUNDER46 Speaker Replacement Kit for Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995

This kit puts everything needed to replace the front speakers in a 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ into one order: a pair of MTX THUNDER46 4x6" coaxial speakers, a Metra 72-1002 speaker harness connector, and 50 feet of Rockville MARINE 16G50 copper speaker wire. The THUNDER46 speakers handle 40 watts RMS each and play down to 80Hz, giving real low-end presence without needing a subwoofer, while a polypropylene cone and Spider Plateau Venting keep them durable and running cool.

The Metra 72-1002 harness plugs into the factory Chrysler 2-pin flat speaker connector used across 1984-1996 Jeep Wranglers, Cherokees, Comanches, and Grand Wagoneers, so there's no need to cut or splice factory wiring at the connector. The included 50 feet of 16 gauge, 100% copper marine-grade wire runs the signal from harness to speaker with a tinned coating for corrosion resistance and foot markers printed along the jacket for easy cutting, plus polarity labels to keep positive and negative straight during install.
