Thunder THUNDER46 Speaker Replacement Kit for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2002

This kit outfits a 1997-2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a complete front speaker upgrade: a pair of MTX THUNDER46 4x6" coaxial speakers, a Metra 82-1011 mounting bracket plate, a Metra 72-6512 harness connector, and 50 feet of Rockville MARINE 16G50 copper speaker wire. The THUNDER46 speakers handle 40 watts RMS each and play down to 80Hz for real low-end presence, backed by a polypropylene cone and Spider Plateau Venting for durability under sustained use.

The Metra 82-1011 bracket converts the TJ's factory dash speaker opening to accept a standard 4x6" speaker, so the new drivers mount securely without modifying the dash. The 72-6512 harness plugs directly into the factory radio wiring used across a range of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles from the late 1990s through 2007, meaning no cutting into the original harness. Rounding out the kit, 50 feet of 100% copper, tinned, marine-grade wire connects everything with foot markers and polarity labels printed along the jacket for a clean, straightforward install.
