The THUNDER65 is a pair of 6.5" two-way coaxial speakers that handle 60W RMS and 120W peak per side. Response reaches down to 48Hz, low enough that a system without a subwoofer still delivers audible bass rather than upper midrange only. That makes them a straightforward factory replacement for door and rear locations, with or without an added amplifier. Each speaker uses a durable polypropylene woofer with a concave cone that widens dispersion, which helps when speakers are mounted low in door panels and fire across the cabin instead of at ear level. The tweeter pivots up to 15 degrees in any direction, so you can aim highs toward the listening position and pull imaging back to the center of the dash. A high temperature 4-ohm voice coil paired with Spider Plateau Venting keeps cool air moving across the coil during long, loud listening. The rubber surround stands up to the heat, cold, and humidity a vehicle interior sees year round. Mounting depth is 2.063", which clears most factory door openings.
