Thunder THUNDER65 6.5" Coaxial Car Speakers (Pair)

The MTX THUNDER65 is a pair of 6.5" 2-way coaxial car speakers built to reproduce low frequencies most speakers in their class can't touch. Each speaker handles 60 watts RMS (120 watts peak), so a system built around them can skip a subwoofer entirely and still deliver real bass presence.

A polypropylene woofer with a concave cone design improves off-axis imaging, useful since these speakers commonly end up mounted in vehicle doors. A 15° pivoting tweeter lets you aim the highs toward the listener regardless of install location, sharpening imaging further. Inside, a high temperature 4-ohm voice coil combined with Spider Plateau Venting keeps the driver cool during extended high-volume listening, so performance holds up over time rather than degrading. With a 48Hz to 20kHz frequency response, the THUNDER65 works equally well as a factory speaker replacement or as the front stage in a system driven by an aftermarket amplifier.
