WET8CWB

The WET8CWB is a single 8" tower speaker pairing an 8" woofer with a 1" high compression driver, built for systems that need to be heard at distance. A compression driver is the difference maker: at 94.3dB sensitivity it converts amplifier power into output far more efficiently than a standard dome tweeter, which is how vocals and detail stay intelligible 50 or 100 feet behind a boat or across a dune. Combined, the two drivers cover 20Hz to 20kHz. The gloss black ASA plastic enclosure includes UV inhibitors so the finish holds through seasons of sun, and the impact resistant ASA grille takes contact from boards and gear. Testing to ASTM B117 and D4329 standards backs the weather resistance. The rotating bracket clamps to bars from 1-3/4" to 3" and lets you aim the speaker where the sound needs to go, whether that is at the water or into a cockpit. A down-firing dome light with 34 1/8W white LEDs adds usable light after dark, and a red backlit MTX logo finishes the rear of the enclosure.
