NS-651N

The NESA NS-651N is a 2-DIN car receiver built around a 6.5" widescreen touchscreen, combining DVD playback, GPS navigation, and Android phone integration in one dash opening. Turn-by-turn navigation covers all 50 states through iGo Primo, with nearly 17 million points of interest, on-screen and text-to-speech directions, lane departure guidance, speed limit warnings, destination fuel estimates, and a programmable home destination. Android PhoneLink mirrors a connected Android phone or tablet to the 6.5" screen over a single USB connection, so apps, video, and other content on the device run through the receiver's controls instead of a handheld screen. Bluetooth 4.0 with EDR moves data at up to 2.1 Mbit/s, which keeps hands-free calls clear and wireless MP3 playback clean. Most phones will also transfer phone book contacts and recent call logs. A front panel microphone and an external Bluetooth microphone are both included, so you can place the mic where it picks up your voice best.

DVD and CD discs play MP3, MP4, and other video formats, and a rear USB port reads flash drives up to 64GB. That same port supplies 2A 5V adaptive fast charging, which can take a compatible phone from empty to roughly 50% in about 30 minutes (USB cable not included). A rear audio/video input accepts outside sources, while front, rear, and subwoofer RCA pre-amp outputs plus a video output leave room to add amplifiers, a sub, and extra screens. A rear view camera input with trigger switches the display in reverse.

The built-in 4-channel MOSFET amplifier delivers 300W max, and a 10-band equalizer with user presets tunes the sound to the cabin. The 800x400 display runs a 400NIT LED backlight, and the receiver accepts aftermarket steering wheel control interfaces.
