The NESA NSP-652N puts DVD playback, GPS navigation, and Android phone control behind a 6.5" widescreen touchscreen in a 2-DIN chassis. Navigation runs on iGo Primo with coverage of all 50 states, nearly 17 million points of interest, on-screen and text-to-speech directions, lane departure guidance, speed limit warnings, destination fuel estimates, a favorites list, and a programmable home destination. Voice prompts come in multiple languages and genders, and map updates are available through Naviextras.com.

Android PhoneLink connects an Android phone or tablet by USB and mirrors it to the receiver's screen, so apps, video, and other content on the device run through the head unit for hands-free use on the road. Bluetooth 4.0 with EDR transfers data at up to 2.1 Mbit/s, which keeps calls clear and wireless MP3 playback clean. Most phones will also pass over phone book contacts and recent call logs. A front panel microphone and an external Bluetooth microphone are both included, so the mic can go wherever it picks up your voice best.

The disc player plays DVD and CD media including MP3, MP4, and other video, and a rear USB port reads drives up to 64GB. The same port delivers 2A 5V adaptive fast charging, which can take a compatible phone from empty to roughly 50% in about 30 minutes (USB cable not included).

Connections cover front, rear, and subwoofer RCA pre-amp outputs plus a video output for auxiliary displays, and a rear audio/video input accepts outside sources. A rear view camera input with trigger handles reverse, and the unit accepts aftermarket steering wheel control interfaces. The built-in 300W 4-channel MOSFET amplifier and 10-band equalizer with user presets shape the sound, while the 800x400 display with 400NIT LED backlight supports custom backgrounds and screen savers.
