FLkey 2 Mini 25

FLkey 2 Mini 25 packs FL Studio control into a footprint that fits beside a laptop. Two octaves of synth-action mini-keys, pitch and modulation touch strips, and sixteen RGB pads sit on a surface already mapped to the Channel Rack, Step Sequencer, Mixer, Playlist, and plugin parameters over one USB-C connection.

The pads read velocity and polyphonic aftertouch, so they work for step sequencing in the Channel Rack and for finger drumming with FPC, SliceX, and Fruity Slicer, with pressure after the hit available as a modulation source. Eight endless encoders handle levels, pans, sends, and plugin parameters, and the OLED display names whatever you are adjusting so small-format control does not turn into guesswork.

Creative tools are built into the hardware rather than a plugin. Scale mode keeps two octaves locked to a chosen key, Fixed Chord mode triggers a full chord from one key, and Chord Maps put progressions across the pads, which matters more on a compact keybed. The arpeggiator generates and mutates sequences to fill out parts.

A 3.5mm jack MIDI output connects hardware synths and drum machines without a computer in the chain. Mackie HUI support covers other DAWs, Novation Components builds custom pad and encoder layouts, and NKS support gives two-way communication with Native Instruments software. At 1.72 lb and under 14 inches wide, it travels in a backpack and runs on USB bus power alone.

The included bundle covers a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition, Novation Play, Melodics lessons, GForce synth emulations, Klevgrand LUXE and Slammer, Orchestral Tools Parallel Orchestra, and Native Instruments Komplete Select. The controller is class compliant, so it also works with recent iOS devices.
