FLkey 37

FLkey 37 is a compact MIDI keyboard controller for hands-on production in FL Studio. Three octaves of velocity-sensitive keys, 16 RGB backlit pads, eight assignable pots, and transport controls give you direct access to the Sequencer, Channel Rack, and Mixer without switching windows or hunting for mappings.

Sequencer Mode maps the pads to the FL Studio step sequencer for programming beats quickly. Two pad modes take rhythms off the grid: play straight into the Channel Rack or FPC, and trigger slices in SliceX. Note Repeat handles hi-hat rolls and fills at a consistent rate. The eight pots pull volume and pan controls off the screen so you can record automation live, and preset browsing for Image-Line plugins happens from the keyboard with no mouse involved.

Scale mode locks the keys to a chosen key so wrong notes drop out of reach, and the Chord modes let one finger trigger full harmonies, which speeds up sketching progressions. A 16 x 2 character screen keeps the current parameter and mode in view.

Connections cover both software and hardware work: a USB B socket for class-compliant MIDI and bus power, a 5-pin MIDI out socket for synths and drum machines, a 1/4 in. sustain pedal input, and a Kensington security slot for shared studios or stage use. NKS support gives two-way communication with Native Instruments software.

The included bundle covers a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition plus GForce Novation Bass Station, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select, XLN Audio Addictive Keys, the AAS Session Bundle, Spitfire Audio LABS Expressive Strings, and Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette. It runs on Windows 11, 10, and 8.1, and macOS 13 through 10.15.
