Product Description

FLkey 49 is a MIDI keyboard controller for hands-on production in FL Studio. Four octaves of velocity-sensitive keys, 16 RGB backlit pads, nine 45mm faders, eight assignable pots, and transport controls give you direct access to the Sequencer, Channel Rack, and Mixer with no mapping work first.

Sequencer Mode maps the pads to the FL Studio step sequencer so you can create and edit patterns from the hardware. Two pad modes take rhythms off the grid: play into the Channel Rack or FPC, and trigger slices in SliceX. Note Repeat covers hi-hat rolls and fills. The nine faders and eight pots bring Mixer and Channel Rack levels and pans into your hands for live automation passes, and preset browsing for Image-Line plugins runs from the keyboard.

Scale mode keeps the keys locked to your chosen key, while three Chord modes trigger full harmonies from one finger for quick progressions. The 16 x 2 character screen shows the active mode and parameter, and dedicated buttons handle undo, redo, quantise, metronome, and score log.

Connections suit software and hardware setups: a USB B socket for class-compliant MIDI and bus power, a 5-pin MIDI out for synths and drum machines, a 1/4 in. sustain pedal input, and a Kensington security slot. NKS support gives two-way communication with Native Instruments software.

The included bundle covers a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition plus GForce Novation Bass Station, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select, XLN Audio Addictive Keys, the AAS Session Bundle, Spitfire Audio LABS Expressive Strings, and Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette. It runs on Windows 11, 10, and 8.1, and macOS 13 through 10.15.

Features

    • Built Around FL Studio

Direct access to the Sequencer, Channel Rack, and Mixer means the keyboard already knows your session, so there is no mapping work before you start.

    • Mix With Real Faders

Nine 45mm faders plus eight pots bring Mixer and Channel Rack levels and pans into your hands, so you can record automation passes while the track runs.

    • Program Beats Fast

Sequencer Mode puts the step sequencer on the 16 RGB pads, and two pad modes play into the Channel Rack, FPC, and SliceX for off-grid feel.

    • Chords From One Finger

Scale mode limits the keys to your chosen key while three Chord modes trigger full harmonies from a single note, opening up progressions quickly.

    • Connects To Your Hardware

A 5-pin MIDI out, 1/4 in. sustain input, and class-compliant USB connection let the keyboard control outboard synths alongside your DAW.
