FLkey 61

FLkey 61 is a full-width MIDI keyboard controller for hands-on production in FL Studio. Five octaves of velocity-sensitive keys, 16 RGB backlit pads, nine 45mm faders, eight assignable pots, and transport controls give you direct access to the Sequencer, Channel Rack, and Mixer as soon as you plug in.

The five-octave keybed leaves room for left-hand bass under right-hand chords, so full arrangements can be played rather than drawn in. Sequencer Mode maps the pads to the FL Studio step sequencer for creating and editing patterns, two pad modes play into the Channel Rack, FPC, and SliceX for off-grid rhythms, and Note Repeat covers rolls and fills.

Nine faders and eight pots handle Mixer and Channel Rack levels and pans for live automation passes, and Image-Line plugin presets can be browsed from the keyboard with no mouse. Scale mode keeps the keys in a chosen key, and three Chord modes trigger full harmonies from one finger. Dedicated buttons cover undo, redo, quantise, metronome, and score log, with the 16 x 2 character screen showing the active mode.

Connections cover software and hardware setups: a USB B socket for class-compliant MIDI and bus power, a 5-pin MIDI out for synths and drum machines, a 1/4 in. sustain pedal input, and a Kensington security slot. NKS support gives two-way communication with Native Instruments software.

The included bundle covers a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition plus GForce Novation Bass Station, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select, XLN Audio Addictive Keys, the AAS Session Bundle, Spitfire Audio LABS Expressive Strings, and Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette. It runs on Windows 11, 10, and 8.1, and macOS 13 through 10.15.
