FLkey Mini

FLkey Mini is a portable MIDI keyboard for making music in FL Studio. Twenty-five velocity-sensitive mini-keys, pitch and modulation touch strips, 16 RGB backlit pads, eight assignable pots, and transport controls fit into a 330mm-wide chassis that travels with a laptop.

Sequencer Mode maps the pads to the FL Studio step sequencer for programming beats, and two pad modes let you play straight into the Channel Rack or FPC and trigger slices in SliceX for rhythms that sit off the grid. Note Repeat handles hi-hat rolls and fills at a steady rate.

The eight pots bring volume and pan controls off the screen so you can record automation while the track plays, and transport buttons cover DAW playback and recording. Image-Line plugin presets can be browsed from the keyboard, which keeps sound selection quick when the mouse is out of reach.

Scale mode locks the keys to a chosen key so wrong notes disappear, and Fixed Chord triggers a full chord from a single key, both of which matter on a two-octave keybed. NKS support gives two-way communication with Native Instruments software, and Novation Components remaps the pads and pots for other software or hardware.

Connections cover a USB B socket for class-compliant MIDI and bus power, a 3.5mm jack socket for MIDI out to hardware synths, a 1/4 in. sustain pedal input, and a Kensington security slot. The included bundle covers a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition plus GForce Novation Bass Station, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select, XLN Audio Addictive Keys, the AAS Session Bundle, Spitfire Audio LABS Expressive Strings, and Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette. It runs on Windows 11, 10, and 8.1, and macOS 13 through 10.15.
