LAUNCH CONTROL XL 3

Launch Control XL 3 is a control surface for mixing and performing with software, hardware, or both at once. Eight 60mm faders handle levels with fader pickup to avoid jumps, 24 endless rotary encoders with RGB LEDs cover pans, sends, and timeline movement, and 16 colour-coded buttons across two rows switch track focus and handle solo, mute, and record arm.

DAW integration covers Ableton Live 11 or later, Logic Pro X and 11, Cubase 11 and 12, and FL Studio through custom scripts, with two DAW encoder modes. A dedicated transport section plays, pauses, and records, and in DAW Control mode the bottom encoder row scrubs the playhead, adjusts loop points, and moves through your arrangement. The 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display shows real-time parameter information as you work.

For hardware, 5-pin MIDI In, Out, and Out2/Thru route and control multiple synths, effects, and control surfaces with no computer needed. Custom Modes can split the surface so different sections control different gear at the same time, and the included Components software stores up to 15 user-defined layouts.

Build quality is aimed at daily studio use and stage work, with a chassis made from 85 percent recycled materials and fully recyclable packaging. The unit measures 250mm wide by 239mm deep and weighs 0.92 kg, so it sits comfortably beside a keyboard or laptop, and USB-C bus power keeps setup to one cable.

Software included: Ableton Live Lite for recording and performing with up to eight tracks, plus Klevgrand Fosfat, Baby Audio Parallel Aggressor, and Output Movement.
