Launchpad Pro MK3

Launchpad Pro MK3 is the most capable grid controller in the Launchpad line, built for producing as well as performing. 64 large velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads reflect your Ableton Live session and respond to how hard and how long you press, so the same grid handles clip launching and expressive playing.

Ableton Live integration runs deep: launch clips and scenes, reach mixer, device, and transport controls, and quantise, duplicate, and double without touching the mouse. One-press access to Capture MIDI keeps ideas that were played before you hit record. In Logic Pro, the grid triggers Live Loops cells, records straight into them, and handles mute, solo, record arm, stop, clear, duplicate, and quantise from dedicated buttons.

The standalone sequencer covers four tracks, eight-note polyphony, and 32 steps. Sequence plugins and print patterns to clips in Ableton Live, or playing outboard gear over MIDI. Micro Steps push grooves off the grid, while Probability, Mutate, Sync Rate, and Play Order reshape patterns as they run. Patterns chain together and assign to Scenes to build full songs.

Scale mode keeps the pads in a chosen key, Chord mode builds and plays complex harmonies from the grid, and Note mode adapts when it detects a drum rack. Eight Custom Modes, configured by drag and drop in Novation Components, turn the unit into a control surface for any MIDI software or hardware, with or without a computer attached.

MIDI In, Out, and Out 2/Thru on 3.5mm connectors, with three TRS-to-DIN adapters included, link the grid to a full hardware rig. Ableton Live 12 Lite is included, and version 12 or later is required for the integration features. A USB power adapter ships in the box.
